Areli's grandfather (Henry Romero) was a story teller. He left behind tremendous amounts of photos, and film. In his retirement, he made a four hour complication of the family history, tracing their trips from Mexico City, Chicago, and San Francisco.
Henry projected the film, then recorded himself giving live narration in Spanish as the film played. The family had saved these onto two DVDs, and gave me permission to upload so they could be shared with the larger family.
